Where A Loving Birth works
What parents say
I highly recommend Zeresh Altork as your doula if you are a soon-to-be-mom, especially if you plan a VBAC, like I did. Zeresh is a very knowledgeable and devoted birthing coach, who is going to be one of your biggest supporters through the pregnancy and the arrival of your baby.
It was a wonderful experience working with Zeresh, from the day I met her to my final postpartum visit with her. She is such a kind, gentle, and compassionate person, and was a wonderful source of loving female support and guidance during my pregnancy and birth.
My husband and I knew we made the right choice in hiring Zeresh Altork as our doula even before I went into labor. Zeresh was such a great resource for labor and delivery preparation as well as postpartum support; she answered all of our questions or gave us resources so that we could determine our own answers.
I hired Zeresh because I was interested in having a low intervention hospital birth. Being a first time mom, I took the package that included Zeresh coming to the house to do classes with us as well. Having Zeresh as my doula was like having a friend that you can talk to about anything.
Frequently asked questions
- Is A Loving Birth a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- A Loving Birth is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask A Loving Birth about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does A Loving Birth offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does A Loving Birth accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- Where does A Loving Birth work?
- They're a service-area practice based in Boynton Beach, Florida — rather than a single facility address, they serve families across the area. Ask whether your location falls inside their coverage when you inquire.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (561) 719-1199 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
