Where to find Abide Midwifery
What parents say
Soon after finding out I was pregnant with baby #2, God was laying it on my heart to do things differently this time around. I didn’t love my hospital experience with my first baby and struggled immediately with PPD. I just kept feeling like this time was going to be different… this time would be better.
As a birth doula, I have attended multiple homebirths with Kendra. I have listened to our shared clients tell me about how much they’ve enjoy their prenatal visits with her, how they’ve felt heard, cared for, & safe under her care.
I wholeheartedly recommend Abide Midwifery! From the prenatal visits, all the way to birth and the postpartum appointments, it was marked by genuine love, care, and understanding. I always trusted that me and my baby's best interests were their top priority.
She is down to earth, evidence based, and dedicated. I have never met somebody who loves what they do as much as Kendra loves midwifery. I'm tempted to say I've met somebody who loves people as much as Kendra loves people.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Abide Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Abide Midwifery offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Abide Midwifery. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Abide Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 937-524-4755 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
