Where Abundant Blessings Midwifery works
What parents say
If you are on the fence about midwifery care let this be your sign to contact Abundant Blessings Midwifery. Tessa is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough with her care. She comes to your house so your whole family can be a part of the wonderful pregnancy process.
We hired Tessa from Abundant Blessings to be our midwife and guide us through our first home birth experience. Her care was more than we ever dreamed possible. This was our third birth, the first two being in hospitals, and we knew we wanted more from our pre- and postnatal care.
The level of care Tessa provided throughout my pregnancy was incredible. From taking her time through every in house appointment, to answering texts and questions leading up to the day of birth, she made my husband and I feel so prepared and confident to birth at home.
Tessa was referred to me by a friend after I had interviewed some other midwives and didn’t feel like they were the right fit. From the start, she was calm and competent and I appreciate how she was willing to start working with us so late into my pregnancy.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Abundant Blessings Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife and service establishment, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Abundant Blessings Midwifery offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Abundant Blessings Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- Where does Abundant Blessings Midwifery work?
- They're a service-area practice based in Westminster, California — rather than a single facility address, they serve families across the area. Ask whether your location falls inside their coverage when you inquire.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 714-922-0238 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
