Where to find Atlanta Birth Center
What parents say
If I could go back and have my first 2 prenatal care and births at Atlanta Birth Center, I would in a heartbeat. When I first looked into ABC, I wasn’t sure—and there weren't many other places, but I decided to go through the assessment anyway.
I had a wonderful experience here! Every prenatal visit was intimate and calming. Every staff was respectful and supportive. When it was time to give birth, they were efficient and comforting.
I gave birth at Atlanta Birth Center less than a week ago and am writing this review while the memory is fresh in my mind (even though I could use more sleep!). This was my second time delivering at ABC, and while the first time was great, this second time was even better.
i decided to transfer to the birth center at 24 weeks after ultimately deciding a hospital birth was not for me when discussing natural birth options with them & let me say i have 0 regrets first off the prenatal care that i have experienced here was absolutely amazing, all the providers we have met with were great…
Frequently asked questions
- Is Atlanta Birth Center a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Atlanta Birth Center is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Atlanta Birth Center about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Atlanta Birth Center offer water birth?
- Water birth or birthing tubs come up in their public listing or reviews. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Atlanta Birth Center accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 404-474-2770 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
