Where to find Austin Area Birthing Center
What parents say
My husband and I had an amazing experience with the Austin Area Birthing Center. They did an amazing job educating us as first time parents through the entire pregnancy process.
I have had two births with Austin Area birthing Center North. One was in 2019, the other in 2025. I was so thankful that they accept VA insurance, because I know how hard working with Tricare West can be. With both babies, I received attentive care from the start.
I recommend the birthing center experience for new moms that want to deliver without medication or interventions, and want to recover in their own home since you can be discharged 4 hours after birth. I had a healthy and uncomplicated pregnancy and birth.
If you care at all about compassionate, empathetic care then AABC is the perfect place! I had my first daughter there in 2020 and had all my prenatal and postpartum care with my second just this year, but ended up birthing at the hospital. Coming from an OB to midwifery is such a huge difference.
