Barefoot birth is beyond exceptional when it comes to choosing your birthing center and services. Charlie and her team go out of their way to make each person who comes through their door welcome and loved.
I can’t say enough good things about Charlie. I was planning my second home birth when I found out my baby had some health concerns and would need to be born in a hospital. I started calling home birth midwives for doula referrals, and I was so lucky to connect with Charlie.
I found Barefoot Birth by chance as I was searching for midwife options for a VBAC birth with my second child. From the beginning Charlie and the other midwives were very knowledgeable about my options of what a successful VBAC could look like for me which I was very grateful for.
My experience with Charlie at Barefoot Birth was absolutely incredible. During my first pregnancy, I was an RN working in the ER through Covid—times were scary and overwhelming. Unfortunately, my OB experience back then left me feeling like just another number, with very little support or personalized care.
