What parents say
Gloria is one of the best people I've ever met. She is always available to provide comfort and reassurance, which I needed a lot of. During labor, she gave me the courage and confidence to trust and listen to my body, and she was more than a shoulder to cry on when it got intense.
How do you write down in words how you feel about someone who’s caught all 4 of your Utah babies over the course of 10 years? Gloria embodies everything you could ever want in a midwife — present, warm, wise, bold, gentle, comforting, nurturing, aware, equipped, careful, and thoughtful.
It's hard to find the words to describe what it's like to be under Gloria's expert and loving care. After leaving the OB that I had been going to in a traditional hospital setting and transferring into Gloria's care, I felt immediate and immense relief and peace knowing I'd be heard, respected, and safe.
From the moment we met Gloria, I knew we were going to get the best care possible. She is an empath in the purest sense, and very intuitive with each of her client’s needs. This was my 5th pregnancy and birth and I had a different provider/midwife for each one.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Bearth Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Bearth Midwifery offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Bearth Midwifery. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Bearth Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (214) 717-0689 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
