Where to find Beginnings Birth Center
What parents say
I loved my experience here. I have always hoped to have a home birth but my husband has never felt comfortable. Beginnings is a great in between facility for those parents that can't agree on where and what. I felt comfortable like I was at home laboring around their room.
Great place to walk you through pregnancy, labor, and birth! They have so many resources available and knowledgeable personnel. Staff is so friendly! We loved being able to have a water birth and have the support we needed through labor.
I am so happy with my decision to give birth to my first baby here! I received excellent care throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. I always looked forward to my prenatal appointments and consistently felt listened to, respected, and genuinely cared for.
My experience at Beginnings Birth Center far exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I began my first pregnancy journey, I felt a deep sense of support and warmth.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Beginnings Birth Center a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Beginnings Birth Center is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Beginnings Birth Center about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Beginnings Birth Center offer water birth?
- Water birth or birthing tubs come up in their public listing or reviews. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Beginnings Birth Center accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (719) 367-9405 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
