Where to find Bend Birth Center
What parents say
Janette and her team are hands down the most brilliant and kind people that truly care for their clients. Their selfless dedication to the field is unmatched and we could never have been in better hands than theirs. Highly recommend the BBC team for all your birth plans🤍
The ladies at Bend Birth Center are amazing! Throughout my care I felt so completely supported and confident. They really listened to me when I expressed how important a home birth was to me, but I always knew that it would never be at the detriment of me or my child.
From the moment I met the ladies of bend birth center, I knew I felt comfortable with them and that I wanted to experience my pregnancy and birth with them. The care and support they give throughout pregnancy is extraordinary and nothing you could experience anywhere else.
We had an amazing experience with the Birth Center. They were incredible. I wanted a vbac and most OBs told me it wasn't possible. We went into the situation knowing I may be transferred to the hospital but their calm demeanor and expertise kept me and the baby safe.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Bend Birth Center a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Bend Birth Center is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Bend Birth Center about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Bend Birth Center offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Bend Birth Center accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (541) 749-4660 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
