Where to find BEST Birth Hawaii
What parents say
I cannot recommend Best Birth Hawaii enough!!!! Katja and her team are so so amazing. My husband and I could tell just from our first phone consultation how passionate she is about this work. We got to interview the doulas and choose who we connected and aligned with most. Pua was our doula and we loved her so much.
Best Birth Hawaii did an excellent job of matching me with a doula who understood my unique pregnancy. She was very empathetic to the many sensitivities I was experiencing and worked to keep me calm before and during the birthing process.
We had an amazing experience with Gracie as our doula! From the intial discussion with Katja to signing with Gracie, it was clear their goal was to ensure we felt as supported as possible.
I took a birthing class with Best Birth and had Jenn as my doula. Jenn was amazing!! She was so attentive and caring. I truly believe that she helped give me the best birth experience possible, including avoiding a potential c section. The class itself was also really helpful.
Frequently asked questions

- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for BEST Birth Hawaii. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.

- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 808-366-0230 or use the website link above, or schedule a tour directly with the button above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
