We were pretty confident we knew what we were doing with our fifth child, but we went ahead and hired Better Birth Now doulas to help and they have been wonderful!! We also tried the Placenta Encapsulation for the first time and it was not as weird as I thought.
My husband and I welcomed our little girl in early September after taking an 8 week Birth Naturally class! My biggest fear for birth was not having enough information and not being prepared . Birth Naturally went over all stages of birth and labor and was extremely educational.
I had many services provided by Better Birth Now and I'm so thankful for all of them. I did placenta encapsulation and man am I ever glad I did! I took them as I was told to and felt good. I didn't have the sheer exhaustion after having my baby and my emotions were much more stable than without the pills.
My husband and I took the 8-week Birth Naturally class from July-August 2015, and we would both highly recommend it to anyone! Planning for a natural, unmedicated birth, in any setting (hospital, birth center, or home) takes just that, planning!
