I delivered my first child at the Birth Center just nine days ago, and I could not be more pleased with their competency and care. Coming from 50 minutes away, the Birth Center is well worth it; even with laboring in the car for that long!
One month ago I had the best birth experience I could have asked for thanks to the Birth Center of Bloomington Normal and their amazing midwives, especially Amy who let me squeeze her hand the whole time, rubbed my back, grabbed me a cold rag, and told me reassuring things the entire time.
100% recommend The Birth Center! Everyone who works here are so kind and welcoming! The Midwives are very kind and personable. I had my 3rd child here and would never go back to a hospital. I had episiotomies and bad tearing with my first two hospital births and was terrified of going through that again.
