Where to find Birth Center of Chicago
What parents say
As a first time mom and postpartum RN I knew prior to getting pregnant that I wanted to birth outside of the hospital. For the first part of my pregnancy I received care by a hospital-based midwife. Once I had my 20 week anatomy scan and everything looked good I made the decision to switch to the Birth Center!
BCC staff were so genuine, attentive and responsive. I had my redemptive birth experience I always wanted to have after having my first daughter. When Rhea was born, I was treated with care and love: thank you for everything you’ve done. This review is way overdue now that she is a year and a half.
So thankful this place exists, so thankful for the amazing staff at BCC who make this such a wonderful place!! The best way to describe the BCC is intentional- everything is mother-first and revolves around establishing the comfort and community needed to facilitate an ideal birth.
I transferred to the Birth Center at 20 weeks for my fourth pregnancy. I knew what kind of care I was looking for and what kind of birth environment I would thrive in. The Birth Center experience exceeded my expectations.
