In 2022, I found myself in a situation I wasn’t prepared for: fifty hours of labor in, and only 5cm dilated. Adapting quickly, we decided to transport from the birthing center to Peace Health. One epidural later, and 3 hours of pushing with little progress, I was gifted with Dr. Anna Dowling’s presence.
If you want top-notch care - with a blend of midwife + doctor, Dr. Dowling is your person. When I found out I was pregnant with twins there was no other place to go for high-risk care besides PH (or so I thought).
I am thankful for all that Anna Dowling has done for me and my family. I contacted her early in my pregnancy feeling anxious, excited, and hopeful for a VBAC. I had several reasons why a repeat C-section would be preferable, but Anna seemed just as hopeful as I was to achieve a successful VBAC.
Dr. Dowling is the best of the best! Not only did we receive care from an excellent, knowledgeable, experienced OB (and benefit from the peace of mind that comes with that!
