We had a water birth at the Belvoir home with Carolyn and could not have had a better experience. Our first child was born naturally in the hospital, but we were looking for a more intimate experience the second time around. And that’s exactly what we found here.
Shalmai has been a wonderful midwife, making the pregnancy, birth and postpartum such a good experience! We loved the group appointments and time with the other couples. Even though this was our second child, we learned so many new valuable things that helped us get ready for the birth of our son.
We could not be more pleased with the way Carolyn and Shalmai took care of us from the time we met them until weeks after the birth, and even today. They both went above and beyond to keep my wife and I both comfortable through the whole process, as this was our first experience with midwives or a home birth.
