Where to find Birth Work South Florida
What parents say
I recently had the pleasure of working with Birth Work for placenta encapsulation, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, their service was exceptional. Kamilah Harris guided me through the process. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.
Kamilah was my angel on earth. I’d had never be able to go through what I went through feeling supported and accompanied if Kamilah wasn’t there for me/us. She’s truly unbelievable. I tell everybody about her. A doula is a MUST in birth time. She made my 3 days birthing process an experience I will never forget.
I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t met Kamilah. At six months pregnant, I was struggling with my OB/GYN, feeling lost and uncertain about the direction I wanted to take for my birth and preparing for labor.
I wholeheartedly recommend this practice. I worked with Kamilah (pronounced Kamahyah). She is a lovely, well spoken, educated, credentialed and compassionate woman who has a vast network. At 40 years old, melanated, and seeking a VBAC after past medical trauma, I struggled to trust hospitals or providers.
