I have had two daughters choose Blessed Joy Midwifery. Sheila Brown is the best! She is so knowledgeable, the calm in the storm, so encouraging, affirming, intelligent, humorous, down to earth, laid back, and full of the Holy Spirit.
I had my first two sons in a hospital with an epidural. In my 3rd pregnancy, I decided to leave my usual OB and switch to Sheila at around 18weeks. I am BEYOND thankful for the care that her and her team provided. Her and her team gave me the support and guidance that I needed to have a successful home birth.
Sheila, Brandi and Charity are the best team I’ve ever encountered. I decided at 36 weeks pregnant I wanted a natural birth after being set on another C-section (this would’ve been my 4th c-section). After being told no after no I was losing hope on having a natural birth.
I’ll never forget the love, strength, and care I received from the team at Blessed Joy Midwifery. They helped me bring my baby into the world safely, and for that, I am eternally grateful. Labor was intense, emotional, and at times overwhelming but this team stood by me with such compassion and encouragement.
