Where to find Blue Heron Midwifery
What parents say
I’m not sure I’ll be able to truly convey our experience with Bri in words, but I’ll do my best and provide some context. We were getting prepared to have our fourth child and I was very hesitant about doing a home birth.
5 Stars are just not enough for this angel. I can't say enough good things about her. First and foremost, I firmly believe that I found Brianna by the grace of my heavenly father. This was my 3rd baby, but my first all natural home birth.
Bri is a phenomenal midwife, truly!! She says she was proud of me, but actually, I was equally proud of her! It was so cool seeing her in action on the day of our home birth, she is so dang good at what she does and she does it with HEART!
We hired Bri for our second VBAC home birth and we couldn't be happier with the care we received! I called Bri before we were even pregnant with our fourth child because I was having issues getting my cycle to even out after having my third child in Fall of 2022.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Blue Heron Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as pregnancy care center, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Blue Heron Midwifery offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Blue Heron Midwifery. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Blue Heron Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 425-535-7301 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
