Where to find Cary House
What parents say
The Cary House is a one-stop-shop and safe haven for pregnancy and postpartum. We utilized their doula services, massage therapy, chiropractic care, and acupuncture for baby #1 and after such a positive experience, are absolutely doing the same for baby #2.
Cary House is a warm and welcoming home with all the services you need in one place. One of the best prenatal massages you will receive in WNY Rebecca’s prenatal yoga classes provide the support, education, encouragement, movement you need and deserve in pregnancy.
The Cary House is such an amazing resource for expecting and new moms in Buffalo. I saw Rebecca for a prenatal massage, and it was amazing. She took the time to ask about any specific areas of pain or concern and put extra focus on those areas.
The postpartum mothers group at Cary house was such a blessing after the birth of my first child, and I could not be happier with my prenatal massage experience.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Cary House a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Cary House is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Cary House about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Cary House offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Cary House accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Reach out through their website — use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
