What parents say
After searching and searching for a Freestanding Birth Center in the Bay, my wife and I found Casa Natal Birth Center. We decided to have our son there. Since our first appointment Melisa Dean and the team at Casa Natal Birth Center have been incredible!
Melissa has a beautiful practice set up for patients and she has been really kind and caring during my pregnancy. I would recommend her birth center for those looking for a more comfortable and inviting pregnancy, labor and delivery.
My personal experience with the midwives at Casa Natal was an experience I did not expect. I had four of my babies at a hospital and my last baby was born at the birthing center. I've always had anxiety and stress having to go to a doctors office or being in a hospital setting.
Melissa is a birth support angel! We have nothing but glowing, beautiful experiences with Melissa and Casa Natal with both of the births of our last two children. They were both very redemptive experiences compared to the birth of our first child.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Casa Natal Birth & Wellness Center a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as women's health clinic and chiropractor, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Casa Natal Birth & Wellness Center offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Casa Natal Birth & Wellness Center. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Casa Natal Birth & Wellness Center accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 408-337-2830 or use the website link above, or schedule a tour directly with the button above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
