I am truly honored to have had a doula to, not just help but guide me through my pregnancy as well as my post pregnancy. Being a first time, single momma everything is very much new, exciting, but also a bit anxious and common sense becomes pretty not-so-common.
There’s no doula I would recommend more than April! I’ve known April for many years, so she was my first choice when looking for a doula for my first birth. I’m so glad I chose her! Even if I hadn’t known her already, she is so empathetic and kind it feels like you’ve been friends forever.
Hiring April as our doula was one of the best decisions we made during our first pregnancy! April took time to get to know us and our wishes for our delivery experience. She was always there to answer questions that we had and provided support throughout our pregnancy journey.
April was present for the birth of our first son at Poudre Valley Hospital and we wouldn't have it any other way! We found her presence and support very calming and encouraging as first timers. She was there every step of the way, supporting both of us with laboring at home as well as in the hospital.
