Where to find Colorado Birth and Wellness
What parents say
If you’re looking for loving, nourishing prenatal care and a calm birth experience that always puts your needs first, you must check out Colorado Birth and Wellness. My husband and I birthed our second baby there, and we couldn’t have asked for more.
Both of my children (now a 2yo and a 4mo) were born at CBW. Newly pregnant, I knew that I wanted a safer, quieter, more empowered experience than hospitals can provide—I found a lot of research showing that fewer medical interventions lead to better outcomes for mother and baby.
We had the BEST experience at Colorado Birth & Wellness when my son was born. The whole care process at CB&W was great. The midwives spend so much time with you and really care about how you're doing and feeling as a mother and what you & baby need to thrive. The birth of our son was an amazing experience.
My first labor was in a hospital setting where I felt ill-prepared and unable to advocate for myself even as a practicing nurse with several years of experience in bedside nursing; I had some trauma from that experience and decided I wanted a holistic approach that wouldn’t push me through the system.
Frequently asked questions

- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Colorado Birth and Wellness accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (720) 464-7599 or use the website link above, or schedule a tour directly with the button above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
