What parents say
I can't imagine that this review could possibly do justice to the magic that is Community Birth Works. Cynthia and Sophia, and their brilliant team, assisted me in having the most powerful home water birth of my dreams!
My partner and I explored the option of home birth when I was in the 2nd trimester with my first baby. Cynthia was the first midwife we met with, and upon leaving that initial meeting I felt like I knew this was the person I wanted to be my midwife. Cynthia not only attended the birth of my first baby.
You cannot find a better care team than Community Birthworks. I never knew before working with them that healthcare could be so empowering and life-changing. It is not an exaggeration to say that my experience with them has changed my life - down to my fundamental understanding of and trust in my body and self.
I have had two beautiful home births and to describe those experiences would a bit of a struggle for me to do concisely. So, if you read only the first few lines of this review, please take away: 1. That Cynthia, Sonia and Sophia of Community Birth Works will always live in a special place in my heart and 2.
