Where to find Connecticut Childbirth & Women's Center
What parents say
I had my third girl at the birth center last April. My experience was wonderful. The midwives and nurses were all great, as was the front desk staff (who were so helpful with all my insurance billing issues!). When I had opinions on my care, they listened and respected my thoughts.
There aren’t enough words to describe my gratitude for the care I received from all of the midwives at the Connecticut Childbirth Center. From the very first visit, I felt empowered, listened to, and respected in my choices. They always responded quickly to my concerns and were extremely kind, caring, and empathetic.
I would definitely recommend CCWC. This was my first pregnancy and I knew I wanted to have few interventions throughout my pregnancy and labor/delivery if possible. The birth center granted all of my wishes, answered all of my questions, and treated me and my husband with respect.
I have not given birth here yet but I did take a tour and had an appointment with one of the midwives. We live almost two hours away from this location but I did not like the other provider I had previously been seeing and went on the search to find a place that would make me feel more comfortable.
