I want to share my heartfelt gratitude for my labor and delivery nurse, Alicia Amante, who cared for me during the birth of my son, Edwin Thornton, at Corewell Royal Oak on July 23, 2025.
This was my first birth and I decided to have my baby at the Natural Birth Center. I arrived to my room around 5:30AM on January 9th to my room. After shift change around 7:00AM my nurse came in to see me, she notified my doctor to come and check my dilation.
