What parents say
We had our first child at home 2 years ago with the help of the team at Eden Midwifery. Reflecting on the experience, I thought now would be a good time to write a review. This was a wonderful experience, start to finish!
This was my first birth. I couldn't be happier with my experiences of a home birth. The team included the entire family. Crystal is knowledgable, experienced, personable, caring and professional. She was great about answering my many questions all times of day. Assisted us with/ through this Covid experience.
Where to even begin. My experience with Crystal and her team of amazing women was something I will never forget. From the very first appointment I felt valued and heard. Crystal was always so kind and friendly.
We absolutely loved our home birth experience with Crystal and her team! I didn’t find Crystal until I was already over 20 weeks pregnant, but from the first phone call I could tell she was sweet and knowledgeable and wanted to make sure I was taken care of.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Eden Midwifery & Wellness a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Eden Midwifery & Wellness is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Eden Midwifery & Wellness about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Eden Midwifery & Wellness offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Eden Midwifery & Wellness. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Eden Midwifery & Wellness accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (541) 515-6556 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
