Where Embolden Birth Services works
What parents say
"Hire a doula" is often the first thing I tell expectant parents. The amount of peace it brought my husband and I in our birth process was such a blessing. I have experienced 2 births with 2 different doulas and Hannah's personal attention care was miles beyond what I expected.
Hannah was our doula for our first child and it was amazing to have her by our side! My husband and I took Hannah’s child birth classes and learned so much, and she was with us every step of the way through labor and delivery as well as postpartum support.
Can’t not say enough about how great it was having a doula for my pregnancy, labor and postpartum period. Hannah was professional yet very personal and caring. She really made you feel heard and understood as a mother, not simply a client.
Hannah will forever hold a special place in our family’s story. She is incredibly kind, comforting, and caring. I always said I wanted 10 children, and while that isn’t likely for us, I can say I will 100% hire Hannah for every single birth, if we are fortunate enough to have more. 🌈
Frequently asked questions
- Is Embolden Birth Services a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as perinatal center and doula, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Embolden Birth Services offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Embolden Birth Services. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Embolden Birth Services accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- Where does Embolden Birth Services work?
- They're a service-area practice based in Heath, Ohio — rather than a single facility address, they serve families across the area. Ask whether your location falls inside their coverage when you inquire.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 740-644-1501 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
