When I became pregnant with my 4th baby, I knew that this would be my last and so I was determined to do things my way. I knew I wanted a home birth and that I needed to find a midwife. She needed to be experienced, knowledgeable, supportive and most importantly, we needed to click!
We were happy to have Lisa's assistance at the birth of our 5th child. (3rd homebirth) Prenatal visits are an hr long chat, an opportunity to discuss anything from aches, to diet, to emotional wellbeing, etc. Quite different from the maze of rooms, secretaries, and nurses that you find at most Dr. offices.
We decided to have a natural home birth for our first child after learning about the tragedy of the hospital birth system. Lisa was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and honest about the whole process. It seemed a little scary at first but we soon became more and more comfortable with the idea.
That was the most joyous experience in my life. Lisa was amazing. She was there to support us however we needed. We couldn't ask for a better person to help bring our sonshine into the world. She was knowledgeable of everything that could happen.
