I personally had an amazing experience giving birth here. This is THE ONLY hospital in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area offering in-hospital water births, which is what I had. I had my baby in 4 hours with the help of Bonnie as my midwife. Forgot the nurse's name as it was an incredibly intense experience.
I gave birth to my daughter at St Joseph’s this month, and had the best experience possible. Every staff member, from midwives to nurses to lactation consultants, were helpful, thoughtful, and thoroughly available when I needed them. Giving birth is an intimidating experience, but I am eternally grateful for this team.
I was admitted through the ER to the hospital birthing center. My experience was great, though it was not short or without some difficulties. However, all the staff in the labor and delivery floor were kind, patient, and incredibly helpful.
