Where to find FamilyCare OB/GYN & Birth Center
What parents say
Always have had a good experience. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for my pregnancy or health care. The midwives have always been so caring and sweet, not only to me but also my children. It's a very supporting and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Erin!
Friendly and Very Caring staff. It's hard to find a good health care team. Due to some very bad experiences at other places I was very hesitant on trying anyone new. Struggled for years with pcos begging doctors or physicians to listen and hear my side of the story.
The nurse Jennifer is amazing. I didn't have insurance and was going to pay out of pocket and she had it set up through a program that paid for that and my mammogram. She saved me a ton of money and she is super nice. Thank you Jennifer and thank you Family Care.
Been coming here for years, most certainly will be back. The people from Family Care didn't treat me as just a number. I felt like I was truly heard! Everyone from the receptionist down to Provider were awesome!
Frequently asked questions
- Is FamilyCare OB/GYN & Birth Center a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- FamilyCare OB/GYN & Birth Center is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask FamilyCare OB/GYN & Birth Center about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does FamilyCare OB/GYN & Birth Center offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for FamilyCare OB/GYN & Birth Center. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does FamilyCare OB/GYN & Birth Center accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 304-345-2229 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
