Where to find First Breath Midwifery Care
What parents say
My review is way over due. I had my 3rd child during the heat of covid. As a medical professional I saw compassion in medical care be replaced with the fear of covid. I could only have 1 visitor and they could not swap. Absolutely no children were allowed. I ended up having to stay 5 days in the hospital.
Katrina’s care is above and beyond! I learned so much from her knowledge of the body and felt so much more prepared for birth. Her calm spirit helped give me confidences during labor. The birthing suite at First Breath was amazing and the time we spent there after our baby arrived was so peaceful and healing!
Katrina, Tessa, and staff are amazing and so helpful. They always answered all of the first time mom questions without treating me like I was a total newbie. Love these ladies
Katrina and her staff are top notch! Experts in their field always caring and making sure everything is taken care of!
Frequently asked questions
- Is First Breath Midwifery Care a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- First Breath Midwifery Care is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask First Breath Midwifery Care about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does First Breath Midwifery Care offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for First Breath Midwifery Care. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does First Breath Midwifery Care accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 406-259-9575 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
