Where to find Glory Birth
What this center offers
“Bottom line: the midwives at Glory Birth are incredible and if we have any more babies I would choose them again in a heartbeat.”
“This was my third birth and my third experience with hyperemesis gravidarum, but my first home birth (second unmedicated) and first in the KC area.”
“Gloria & Beka assisted me with my 2nd & 3rd wonderful homebirths after an unnecessary c-section with my 1st baby with a doctor, also all of my babies have been 15/16 months apart.”
“After an ok hospital birth with our first under the care of an OB, I had a feeling that the prenatal care and birth experience could be better.”

What parents say
Glory Birth offered me an incredible home-birth experience that I literally couldn't have even asked for. As soon as I met with Gloria and Rebekah, I knew I was in good hands and that me and my family were going to be taken care of.
Where to begin… I love the GloryBirth team and plan to have all my babies with them. I did all of my prenatal care with their team of three midwives. Each bring their own unique wisdom, skill sets and empathy to the table.
Glory birth is absolutely amazing!! They are thoughtful and intentional with every aspect of your care. I recently chose Glory birth for the care and delivery of my 2nd. I had used a different midwifery service for my 1st birth, and I knew something was lacking in my quality of care.
We loved our experience at Glory Birth! After an ok hospital birth with our first under the care of an OB, I had a feeling that the prenatal care and birth experience could be better. I was blown away by how much better it was.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Glory Birth a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Glory Birth is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Glory Birth about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Glory Birth offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Glory Birth accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (816) 944-0777 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
