If you’re having a baby, get a doula. Plain and simple. Danica brought peace and strength in the most overwhelming moments of my life—physically, emotionally, mentally. Mamas are naturally BADASS, but Harmony Birth Services helped me feel empowered through my birth experience.
My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Danica and I can’t imagine giving birth without a doula. We met with her a few times before birth and she was able to help us think through our decisions and priorities.
When my wife first described getting a doula I was hesitant. Looking back, I believe this was mostly out of my own ignorance about what a doula offers that a typical hospital stay doesn't. I am SO happy that we ended up sharing the pregnancy and birth of our daughter with Danica.
Danica is amazing! When we started this pregnancy journey little did we know we would find ourselves giving birth in the middle of a pandemic... last thing on my birth plan. Unfortunately due to previa I also need a c section.... also not my birth plan.
