Where to find Heirloom Wellness & Birth
What parents say
After somewhat frustrating and disappointing birth experiences at three hospitals in other states, my four birth experiences at Heirloom (formerly Heritage) in Palmer have been amazing. After moving to Alaska and learning we were expecting, I interviewed midwives at several birth centers.
Heirloom Wellness & Birth is a fantastic health care facility. We had a great experience birthing our second child here. The experience was empowering, calm, and supportive. We were so pleased to discover that services had expanded to include family health and wellness, as well.
I went to see Dr. Nadeau for help when I had a flare up of iritis as well as osteoarthritis and a torn meniscus. I was a mess! I very much appreciated that she used both ancient (Chinese acupuncture and herbal formulations) and modern medical modalities (MRI, X-ray, etc.
Life changing visit. I have suffered off and on from sciatic nerve pain for the past 20 years. This latest flare up left me feeling really hopeless, depressed and not even able to walk normal due to the debilitating pain. Nelly who is an MD and licensed acupuncturist left me pain free in one visit!
