Where to find Holistic Birthing Services
What parents say
We hired Deanna for our third baby, and our first homebirth. I had always wanted a homebirth but for various personal reasons it was always just out of my reach. We plan for this to be our last baby and I really wanted to have the homebirth I’d always wanted. Once again it felt out of reach until I spoke with Deanna.
Deanna was the most amazing and present midwife that I could have asked for. She was present for my entire 28.5 hour labor. She monitored my body and my daughter inside the womb the entire time and then supported me postpartum.
Deanna was my sister’s midwife and I was there for the entire 27 hour birth. I just have to say, through the entire long labor, Deanna was always present. Always watching and paying close attention to everything that was happening.
Deanna was the midwife for my daughter’s first birth and home birth. Her birth was almost 29 hours long and very difficult. Deanna was there for the birth for about the entire birth.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Holistic Birthing Services a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Holistic Birthing Services offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Holistic Birthing Services accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (405) 630-0606 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
