Where to find Home4Birth Midwifery Services
What parents say
We had an amazing home birth experience with Brandi and Mindy! They are both incredibly kind, gentle, and knowledgable- there was not a single moment I felt like my baby and I were not in the best hands. My only regret is that we didn't start seeing them until later in the pregnancy.
My wife and I lived in Indy for two years, and in that time we had two babies. We moved there from the midwifery haven of central California, and we were quite concerned when we learned that midwifery was all but illegal in Indiana. Finding Brandi and Mindy was such a relief.
We used Home4Birth Midwifery Services for our first (and only at this time) child. We knew we wanted to go the natural route and be in the comfort and safety of our home for delivery. That being said, Home4Birth was PERFECT for us. Brandi and Mindy exceeded our expectations.
If I could give these women more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. I came to their practice at 26 weeks into my pregnancy and they took me in so easily!! Every appointment was so comfortable and knowledgeable. I learned so much from Brandi and Mindy almost every day!
Frequently asked questions
- Is Home4Birth Midwifery Services a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Home4Birth Midwifery Services is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Home4Birth Midwifery Services about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Home4Birth Midwifery Services offer water birth?
- Their own website mentions water birth or birthing tubs. Tub availability can change and eligibility depends on your situation, so confirm directly with the facility and your provider.
- Does Home4Birth Midwifery Services accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (765) 643-9433 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
