Where to find Homebody Midwifery
What parents say
Nina, Morgan, and Brigette took great care of me for my third pregnancy and birth. Nina took over for Brigette about halfway through my pregnancy. I was bummed to not have Brigette and skeptical replacing her with someone I hadn't originally chosen as my midwife, but she was amazing.
It's impossible to put into words how much Homebody Midwifery has done for our new family. It wasn't just the medical care, they took care of us mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We could not imagine going on this journey without Nina and Morgan.
Hands down would recommend Homebody again and again! I had a hospital birth with my first child and while it was a decent experience I knew I wanted to try a home birth with our second child. Even my husband who was somewhat skeptical of home birth in the beginning is now fully convinced it was the best choice for us.
The Homebody Midwifery team supported me through my third home birth. I found Morgan relatable and knowledgable. Nina supported me the most on this journey, and her care and attention to me was more appreciated than I can describe.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Homebody Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife and holistic medicine practitioner, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Homebody Midwifery offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Homebody Midwifery. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Homebody Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Reach out through their website — use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
