Where to find Indigo Midwifery
What parents say
Lindsay with Indigo Midwifery was beyond words. She is so warm, knowledgeable, and intuitive. When we interviewed Lindsay my husband who is as advanced EMT and fireman felt she was the perfect fit for us.
One of the most caring care givers there is. Lindsay supports you from day one. She is inspiring, very knowledgeable, encouraging, kind, patient, understanding and the list can go on. You will leave each visit with her more knowledgeable and feeling more confident about giving birth.
Lindsay's care during my pregnancy and postpartum were intentional & evidenced based in practice. We experienced what every person that plans a homebirth dreads- we risked out of care at 38 weeks (due to pre-eclampsia).
Lindsay and her team are the best! This was my first pregnancy and they were full of knowledge and experience, but still always left it up to me and my husband to make our own decisions regarding pregnancy & birth (and she was always supportive of what we wanted to do) Our prenatal appts were always about an hour…
Frequently asked questions
- Is Indigo Midwifery a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Indigo Midwifery offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Indigo Midwifery. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Indigo Midwifery accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (435) 557-0648 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
