So my understanding was visitors would not be allowed "to stand, sit, or wait outside the patient's room at any time" in the Labor and Delivery unit, and also the number of guests was to be limited to 2 at a time.
So let me just start off by saying 85% of St Mary’s staff are very capable and caring. As a patient with severe chronic conditions, my care is not always consistent and this has more to do with the corporate system of medicine.
From the first time we walked in the hospital, for my husband's surgery, with Dr. Singh, everyone there was so nice, kind, professional! I have to say, I felt so welcomed. I walked around and looked at the beautiful pictures, went to the chapel a few times, talked with a lot of staff and patients.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone at Intermountain Health St. Mary’s Regional Hospital. During my stay, I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. I would especially like to thank Nurse Jenna in Room 302 of the Intensive Care Unit for her compassion, patience, and support.
