Where to find Legacy Center for Birth & Wellness
What parents say
Five Babies Later, and This One Changed Everything This was my fifth baby, but my very first experience with a midwife & a home birth, & it was everything I could have ever dreamt of & more. With my previous births, I never realized how empowering it could feel to simply let my body do what it was naturally made to do.
I have absolutely loved my experience with the Midwives at Legacy Center!! From day one I have felt seen and taken care of! They thoroughly educated me on nutrition during pregnancy to set me up for a healthy journey. I feel so ready and excited for labor (here any day).
It’s hard to even put into words how much Legacy Center for Birth and Wellness means to our family. I gave birth at the birth center four months ago, and it was truly one of the most beautiful, transformative experiences of my life.
Legacy is the best! The midwives and staff are kind and supportive all around. I felt like my voice and choices were heard and respected from a medical standpoint, personal perspective, and even with scheduling and admin. They balance knowledge and compassion and offer so many resources for individual needs.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Legacy Center for Birth & Wellness a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Legacy Center for Birth & Wellness is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Legacy Center for Birth & Wellness about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Legacy Center for Birth & Wellness offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Legacy Center for Birth & Wellness. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Legacy Center for Birth & Wellness accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (928) 779-6064 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
