What this center offers
“Little Blessings Birth Services, Janelle, is a spectacular midwifery provider and asset to the Yakima and surrounding area.”

“I switched my prenatal care from an OB to her when I was about 30 weeks pregnant and it was the best decision.”
“The education she provided for pregnancy, birth, and newborn/postpartum care was far and away more than anything I experienced with OB care.”
What parents say again and again
“We are so thankful to have such a wonderful midwife in the Yakima Valley.”
What parents say
Janelle has been with me through all three of my pregnancies. I tell everyone I wouldn't have made it through my first labor and birth without her, she was absolutely essential to my success.
Janelle is a wonderful midwife. The care I received for my last two pregnancies was beyond anything I expected when I first approached midewifery care. I felt sufficiently educated, empowered, and trusted to make the right choices for my family.
Janelle and her team are absolutely amazing. My husband and I dealt with infertility for 9 years, and finally got pregnant through IVF. Our IVF doctor told us so many things, such as IVF babies always come early, you have to have a hospital birth, etc.
We LOVE Janelle, we had amazing care right from the start! All of our cares and concerns were always immediately calmed with her. She has walked with us through grief and happiness from two different pregnancies and was ALWAYS there to calm our minds when our third one came about.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Little Blessings Birth Services a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does Little Blessings Birth Services offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Little Blessings Birth Services. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Little Blessings Birth Services accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (509) 949-2103 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
