What this center offers
“I would recommended mama centered midwife to anyone considering a home birth because it truly was everything I hoped for.”
“For me, i do not like hospitals, and after covid there where way more cons than pros for choosing a hospital birth over a home birth.”
“As a local doula, I have had the privilege to work along side Michelle at multiple births within our community over the years.”
What parents say again and again
“She went above and beyond to make my VBAC at home safe, progressing naturally with Spinning Babies suggestions, and clean after baby was here!”
What parents say
Hiring Michelle as my midwife for the home birth of my fourth bay was easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Michelle is compassionate and confident and working with her put my husband and me at ease through my pregnancy and during our home birth.
Michelle recently attended my home birth as an assistant to my midwife, Mary Catherine. They often assist each other, and when you get both- you get the most competent, calm team!
I didn’t had the pleasure of giving birth with Michele, but she did help me with postpartum. I wish I had used her for my last two births. She is so kind, patient and helpful. If are in need in the future I would choose her 1000%
Michelle is a colleague midwife of mine and I trust her completely. Her passion for supporting families comes through in her care!
Frequently asked questions

- Their public listing or website mentions insurance or Medicaid. Coverage varies by plan and by service, so verify your specific plan directly with the facility and your insurer before you commit.
- Where does Mama Centered Midwife work?
- They're a service-area practice based in Tarpon Springs, Florida — rather than a single facility address, they serve families across the area. Ask whether your location falls inside their coverage when you inquire.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (727) 228-2879 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
