Where to find Mariposa Midwifery LLC
What parents say
I have put off writing a review because I needed time to process birth/postpartum and to find the words to explain my experience with Joanna. From the very first consultation, it was very clear that autonomy and having a say in your own care is a big priority.
My husband and I are first time parents. We had a very positive birth experience and credit this in many ways to the excellent care and guidance we received from Joanna Wilder and Mariposa Midwifery. The prenatal visits were very thorough and empowering.
At 30 weeks pregnant I made the decision to transfer care from the hospital to the community setting. I suddenly felt called to birth at home and was determined to make this a reality. Fortunately, I found Joanna at Mariposa Midwifery!
Joanna was our midwife/involved in all three of our home births. She was instrumental in gently guiding us while making the choice of how/where we wanted to birth. She provided medical care as well as held space for us and connected us to community resources.
