Where to find Maternity Center
What parents say
I was induced tuesday 8/25/20 my nurse was kayla and I swear that girl was a god send she made the experience so amazing and she made it feel so much more personal than her just being my nurse. She helped me through contractions and was right there by my side helping me during the actual delivery.
Very nice people but some nurses I have no clue what there names are but I was up there due to pregnancy sickness and they kept being really rude to my mom and grandma just bc they asked a question but don’t get me wrong a wonderful place to have ur baby it’s just them nurses need to learn respect but this Beth girl…
10/10 birthing experience. Nurses were great. Doctor that delivered my baby, Dr. Obrien was great.
The team in this unit go above and beyond their duty as healthcare professionals. They cared for my wife better than I could as if she was their own family. It was a complicated birth but they made it as stress free as anyone could in such a stress based situation.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Maternity Center a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Maternity Center is a freestanding birth center — a facility separate from a hospital. Freestanding birth centers typically serve low-risk pregnancies and have a hospital-transfer plan in place; ask Maternity Center about theirs, and confirm with your provider that a birth-center birth fits your situation.
- Does Maternity Center offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for Maternity Center. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does Maternity Center accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call (989) 839-3630 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
