The labor and delivery department is amazing! I had my prenatal care in a town about 3 hours away. Wasn’t prepared to have my baby at Mercy Gilbert but everyone made us feel so comfortable from start to finish. The nurses there were the best I’ve ever had and so nice.
I have to share my 5 star review of this place! I was surely wanting to avoid giving delivery at a hospital and planned to give birth at a birthing center, but my son decided to arrive a month earlier than his due date.
I had a very long 3 day labor with a few complications, and the labor and delivery nurses still found ways to make our birth experience amazing. I could not have done it without their help and encouragement. All of our nurses were amazing but specifically Amanda V.
I just want to say that my delivery experience was amazing. I had a wonderful careteam from nurses in triage,to labor, to postpartum and to the doctors, especially my anestiologist who lifted me up during my whole procedure and to the doctor who made a quick decision to save my baby's life and mine.
