Where to find MidValley Birthing Services
What parents say
I recently delivered my third baby at home with the MidValley midwives as my care team after transferring my care from a hospital OB team around 24 weeks pregnant. Even though I was late to their care, I was immediately confident in my decision to proceed with a home birth after meeting the team.
We recently welcomed our third daughter and chose to have a home birth this time around. Our first birth was in a hospital and our second at a birth center, so my husband and I were really excited for the opportunity to bring our baby into the world at home.
I had the most amazing experience at this birth center. This was my fourth baby, but my first unmedicated birth and my first time choosing a birth center, and it was incredibly healing. After hospital births with lots of interventions that left me feeling traumatized, this experience was completely different.
I cannot say enough how grateful I am to have stumbled upon this wonderful group of women. At 36 weeks I transferred care to Mid Valley Birthing Services after finding my baby was breech and desperately wanting to have a vaginal birth.
Frequently asked questions
- Is MidValley Birthing Services a freestanding birth center or a hospital unit?
- Their public listing categorizes them as midwife, not a hospital maternity unit. Ask them directly where births take place and how they coordinate with hospitals, and confirm the details with your provider.
- Does MidValley Birthing Services offer water birth?
- Water birth isn't mentioned in the public information we have for MidValley Birthing Services. If a birthing tub matters to you, ask the facility directly — options change, and our data may not capture everything they offer.
- Does MidValley Birthing Services accept insurance or Medicaid?
- We couldn't confirm insurance details from public information. Ask the facility which plans they accept, and check with your insurer about coverage for the type of birth care you're planning.
- How do I get in touch or see the facility?
- Call +1 541-928-1002 or use the website link above. Most birth centers and hospital maternity units offer tours — it's the best way to get your questions answered before you decide.
