Kathya is an absolutely amazing midwife, but she is also more than that, she became a friend and now feels like family after all we went through with our first pregnancy.
I can’t say enough good things about Kathya! This was my first pregnancy and I was going through the motions : OB visits, never understanding what they were telling me or doing to me, and only seeing my OB for a total of 10 minutes. I was feeling rushed and and very uncared for.
Kathya gave me the home birth of my dreams, in the time I was in her care she was so much more than a midwife, she is an amazing friend and makes you feel safe. She would always be there to answer any questions or concerns I had and was always flexible in her scheduling.
Kat was an amazing asset in the success of my second HBAC. Under her direction and recommendation, I added a hypnotherapy massage doula and chiropractor to my home birth team. She also supplied my birth pool, and the extra hands to set it up and tear it down.
