---Updated Review: Second Home Birth---- When we found out we were pregnant again, Carmen was the first to know - both times. I had a rollercoaster miscarriage mid-2023 and she was so supportive throughout those weeks of unknown, testing, and ultimately loss... even before we had our first appointment with her.
In September 2024 my husband and I welcomed our first child, a perfect baby girl. When we found out we were pregnant, we already knew that seeking out a midwife to assist with our desired homebirth was the right choice for us.
Carmen was AMAZING to work with! From appointments, to communication and recommendations for pregnancy and postpartum vitamins, foods to eat, etc., she had a holistic answer for it all! Which was very important to us. Carmen respected all of our decisions and became a great friend along the way.
This review is long overdue! We are so incredibly thankful to have found Carmen! Our first three babies were born in the hospital. It was when we were expecting baby number 4 that I really felt compelled to switch to home birth.
