Where Nurturing Nature Birth Institute works
What parents say
I had the opportunity to meet Netta because one of my bestfriends referred her as a Doula. Prior to meeting Netta I had never heard about Doula services. During my experience, I found out how important it is to have a Doula as a black woman to help with advocating during the labor and birth process while you are not…
Netta was such a wonderful addition to me and my wife’s birthing team. She was very knowledgeable about the birthing process and was always available to answer ANY questions we had. And that was a LOT as first time parents! Netta was always warm, down-to-earth and easy to talk to.
OMG from beginning to the end of my pregnancy she was the absolute best. She always listened to my concerns and opinions as If they were her own and that meant a lot. She’s very tentative and doesn’t allow the doctors to scare her or you out of your decisions as the patient because your voice matters as a black women.
Netta delivered 2 of my babies! With both births she provided stellar service. I believe that if not for her my labors would not be as manageable. Her passion as a birth worker and for people shine through.
