What parents say
The midwifes here were wonderful! They excelled at explaining everything and answering all questions.
The Ochsner midwives and staff are a blessing from God. I wish I could give these ladies more than 5 stars. I had 2 pregnancies with the Alternative Birthing Center. The first pregnancy, my baby was breached and my water bag ruptured so I had to have a C-section.
I had my son at the age of 45, and I did not think that I could receive care from midwives due to my age and my weight. Thankfully, I decided to reach out and they accepted me. I received excellent prenatal care, and I have a healthy, happy boy.
I had a very positive experience with the midwife group for my delivery. I transferred care to this group from my beloved OB late in pregnancy in hopes of delivering at the Alternative Birthing Center.
